		<description>guess this post struck a few personal nerves so here it goes:
i love the blog for its practical and informed view of what happens on the border so i think that its necessary to say that this group&#039;s background is probably just the opposite of that.
harrisonburg va where several of the group&#039;s founders say they&#039;re from has one of the fastest growing migrant populations on the EC.  Suffice it to say, they don&#039;t quite know what to do with themselves just yet.
i think the activists feel they have an idea of what goes on out here but will find in their trip that may not be the case.  they are expecting an establishment/ immigrant paradigm and will quickly learn that much more goes on out here.  there&#039;s no mention of narcos and drug traffickers in their mission so maybe the hope for the trip is that individuals will realize how much they don&#039;t know about the area</description>
