THE BORDER REPORT
The circulated rumor now appears to be true. Teodoro García Simental, El Teo, was reportedly captured in La Paz, Baja California Sur at about 6 a.m. this morning. Due credit to El Mexicano newspaper in BC who reported the information first this morning and to reader Omar for bringing it to my attention.
Turning out to be kind of a good year if you’re Vincent Hanna and Co.

Does anybody else find it fishy that all of a sudden 3 main bosses get caught/killed in just a couple months time? Isn’t Calderon up for re-election soon? Reminds of when W. it wouldn’t suprise me that the operation to “capture” Teo’s lard ass wa staged, they say he was captured together with a couple of other guys before Xmass at a party in Ensenada, they caught him drunk and “en pelotas” with a bunch of petunias, but only he knows how things went down that day.

Did you guys see the press confrence when the brought him out in the plane hanger? He was acting like it was business as usual, leaning back looking at the sky, like this was all pre-planned. Maybe they were sitting on him for a few days…

If you guys check afntijuana blog, there was rumor that teo was caught some months back and they never closed that discussion board from the main page, maybe hoping somebody would confirm capture. One post that caught my attention was that teo was in custody but feds were saving him for election time. Then capturing him in La Paz? That area is stomping grounds for remaining old
dogs of the CAF. Killings in TJ have actually increased after rumored capture, I don’t think news of his capture will reduce violence.

I doubt muletas will go back with Inge, if anything el Sillas will try to kill muletas. There might also be tension in teo’ s people, his brother el chiquilin and muletas may both want to take over his position.

Chapo wants Juarez, he has Mexicali, which the Arellanos left because they already had the biggest point of entry, Tijuana. They are still getting his people killed in Sinaloa, just today I read they the Zetas and Beltran Levyas left him dead bodies. Chapo has been fighting with the AFO for 20 years and never won, he had EL Veloz in Ensenada, he didnt last. Remember Teo was sent reenforcements from Sinaloa and most of them ended up dead, so he began paying drug addicts $100-$300 dollars for hits.

Anybody know who’s hogging up the Gran Hotel?, just passed by and saw the main entrance with rows of fed Tahoes and Suburbans. Ramos and Leyzola probably saw fit to climb out of their foxholes after hearing the news about teo.
