THE BORDER REPORT
And now that I have your attention; let’s have a brief dialogue on this fine Sunday morning.
This is what I’d like to see:
“Hi Michel, did you have a nice Saturday?”
“Why yes, I did. I spent the morning writing, then I went on a mountainbike ride then I cleaned my house and went out. And you?”
“Oh no mucho; I spent a little bit of time here on BorderReporter engaging in a little bit of light shit-talking with some of the people I’ve gotten to know. Then we had an interesting discussion.”
“Oh, that’s nice. How nice.”
“Yeah, you know. I use the Web site for new information and to share a little bit of the things I know because the news media along the border has gone to shit and so I appreciate having a gathering place to talk about events around here. I like taking care of the Web site, especially when you’re not around.”
“Oh that’s good. Thank you for doing that.”
“No problem.”
This is what I get:
The justification for trolling the threads is simple to understand. It’s satisfying to say “fook your mother” to someone whom you disagree with online. Your chair’s comfy, your beer is cold and you get to smoke someone with no danger of retribution. In fact, they don’t even get to find out who you really are.
The rationale seems to be, “if you don’t like it, leave.” Or even better, “If you don’t like what I’m saying, don’t read it.”
Well no. See, I’m not going anywhere. But you can.
There’s a lot of good discourse going on in the comments. You all bring lots of perspectives, lots of chismes, lots of healthy challenges. Keep it that way or go find another Web site to scream at each other in.
Now, for the most part, all your comments are welcome here. But when you shit in the forum, consider the idea that what you’re doing is the virtual equivalent of shitting on my desk.
Something to keep in mind. Have a good Sunday.

Had not been on here in a couple days and the first thing I read is “Chapo Captured” WTF damm near fell out of my chair.. good one…Oh an sorry about the F word (Forum) proposals on other articles, not meant in anyway to offend you as a writer or as a person but the “Snitch that got iced” was over 100 comments and at one point got out of hand and some of that shit should’ve been private cause not everyone here is here as a cheerleader for a specific criminal group I could care less as longest there is money for everyone everyone including the drug cartels should be happy.

El Chapo may not have been captured, but from the looks of it “El Muletas,” and El Teo’s Brother “El Chiquilin” were indeed captured recently! afntijuana.info is a great source, however, it is currently inacessible (usually occurs when a BIG story breaks out!). narcotijuana.info has been reporting on it all morning…check it out!!

First of all what the fook was he doing in La paz? Not far from where Teo supuestamente got hined up..Bad month for Lopez Uridarte Fam last week his sister got picked up anybody know if they found her yet? Chikilin got hined up in Tijuana or was he in La paz as well? I think I read somwhere that it was two seperate operations one in La paz another in TJ…Whos next in line for this fraction to assume leadership or are they done and AFO is back in the mix? Not that they ever left..

Can somone here tell me what role Francisco Rafael Arellano plays in the AFO…I know he was released in 2008..This guy pled guilty to dirtrubuition charges but was relased a year later..WHY?? He is the oldest of the Arellano brothers and by the looks of his estensive criminal record both here and in Mexico this guy is a career criminal..Its hard for these people to just go back to being regular jo shmoes so I find it hard to believe that he is not involved in the famliy buisness..
