Jesus Blancornelas, arguably the greatest narco-periodista Mexico has ever had, died this morning, of natural causes. I'll have more on this later. Right now I can tell you this does not bode well for coverage of drug-trafficking in Mexico. There's scant few independently investigated stories as it stands.
